Dragon’s Blood is used in magickal workings to promote strength, purification, and protection. Many types of resin are called Dragon's Blood and usually their scent  is a bit light to non-existent. So I have taken perfect tears of Oman Frankincense anointed them with my special spice oil and then coated the tears with a mixture of powdered premium Dragon's Blood resins.

 I blended ground Daemonorops draco (Gold Stamped Ball)  with  Dracaena cinnabari  (Medieval Dragon’s Blood ) and another mystery type from India (my favorite actually) the result is a mystical and pungent incense that has the scent of amplified Dragon's Blood with the beauty of Frankincense.

The name Dracaena comes from ancient Greek - δράκαινα (drakaina, or 'female dragon'). 

Dragon Tears make a colorful and potent addition to incense formulas for a fiery spice note and also provide a great scent when heated alone that is evocative of ancient rituals and rites of protection and power. 

I first created this blend to look like drops of blood for “Heart of the Sun”, an incense for the Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet, but was so pleased with it I decided to make it available on its own.
