Artemis is the magic of freedom, the woman who cannot be defined, for she is continually reinventing herself, as the moon changes from night to night. She is known as a healer, a midwife, a champion of those set upon by circumstances that seem overwhelming.

Artemis is the spirit of the wild forest and the quiet glade, and her magic is in being true to the self.
